Job Summary
What Youll Do
- Design build and ship production-grade GenAI features
- Own GenAI features end-to-end from system design and LLM integration through production deployment and iteration
- Build and maintain reusable GenAI platform components including LLM orchestration prompt management evaluation observability and cost controls
- Establish best practices for building testing and operating GenAI systems reliably in production
- Enable product engineering teams to ship GenAI-powered features through shared infrastructure documentation and hands-on support
- Make architectural decisions that balance speed scalability reliability and cost across AI-driven systems
What Youll Bring
Must-haves:
- 6 years of backend or platform engineering experience building production systems
- 1 years of hands-on experience shipping GenAI or ML-powered features into production (not just prototypes)
- Strong system design skills with experience designing distributed reliable and observable services
- Proficiency in modern languages and frameworks (i.e Python Flask TypeScript React) with experience integrating third-party APIs and services
- Comfort making architectural decisions when industry best practices are still emerging
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with LLM frameworks orchestration tools or model evaluation techniques
- Background in data platforms event-driven systems or real-time pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) containers and CI/CD
- Experience enabling other teams through platform or developer-experience work
