Playbox Nursery which operates under the umbrella of St Johns Methodist Church is seeking an amazing Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated happy team inthis preschool setting.

The job is permanent. Initially it is part time 15 hours a week until the summer term then full time 26.25 hours.

Your duties will include:

• caring for and recognise the emotional needs of children aged 2 - 5years
• planning and supervising daily activities to meetindividual childrensneeds
• setting up the room for the day and tidying up at the end of the session
• being responsible for contributing tochildrenslearning journeys and writingchildrensreports
• be a dedicated practitioner who wants to support preschool children to develop socially emotionally and intellectually
• have high expectations of learning and behaviour
• enjoy being part of a supportive pro-active and energetic team.

You will:

• have good working knowledge of the EYFS statutory standards and Safeguarding
• holda minimum of level 3 OFSTED appropriate Childcarequalification or be in training
• have experience of working with children in an engaging way
• be able to work well within ateamand show initiative.
• be friendlyreliableand have a flexible attitude
• have good interpersonal skills being able to communicate well with peers childrens parents carersand otherprofessionals.
