Birkdale Tower Care Home situated in the heart of Birkdale Southport is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional personcentred care. We are now recruiting compassionate and reliable Bank Care Practitioners to support our residents across both day and night shifts offering flexibility for you while helping us maintain exceptional standards of care.
Your responsibilities as a Bank Care Practitioner:
During Day Shifts
- Supporting residents with personal care hygiene and daily routines
- Assisting with mobility activities and engagement throughout the day
- Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
- Supporting mealtimes to ensure dignity and choice
- Maintaining accurate uptodate care records
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide safe high-quality care
During Night Shifts
- Providing personal care comfort and reassurance during the night
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and promptly reporting changes
- Ensuring residents are safely repositioned and supported with mobility
- Helping maintain a calm restful atmosphere throughout the night
- Preparing clear handovers for day staff
- Responding effectively to any nighttime needs or concerns
What are we looking for
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring professional approach and a positive attitude
- Reliable communication skills and a strong team focus
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts including weekends on a rota basis
