PRIMARY FUNCTION:

ADL Education (EDU) is a geographically distributed team headquartered in NYC that is responsible for the development implementation and oversight of EDUs ambitious impact goals. The Director of Antisemitism Programs is a member of the EDU Programs unit and is a subject matter expert in Antisemitism with strong connections to the Jewish Community. Working in conjunction with all EDU units the Director designs promotes and implements programs that address the changing landscape of antisemitism for Jewish and non-Jewish audiences with a focus on expanding the programs reach and deepening their impact.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Provide strategic vision and oversight of the development of antisemitism programs that address the needs of the U.S. and international Jewish and non-Jewish communities and work with EDU units to develop content and policies for programs.
  • Work closely with CSC and the field to develop and implement antisemitism programs for general audiences in the preK-12 and College & University spaces.
  • Explore innovative program marketing and evaluation strategies that maximize reach and deepen impact
  • Work with ADL teams to identify opportunities for expansion of programs into international markets and for new audiences.
  • Offer leadership in the field of antisemitism education through op-eds media requests interviews and partnering with outside organizations that help ADL achieve programmatic goals.
  • Design and deploy ongoing professional development to ADL staff to increase their knowledge of Jewish identity antisemitism and and anti-Israel bias; onboard new staff on antisemitism programs and resources.
  • Participate in national and departmental special projects and initiatives.
  • Be the lead voice across the organization on communications policy and program decisions related to Jewish identity antisemitism and and anti-Israel bias.
  • Serve as national expert representing ADL at internal and external antisemitism related meetings conferences and summits for K-12 campus ADL leadership national and international audiences.
  • Work closely with ADLs grants and institutional giving team to identify and secure funding for the development implementation and maintenance of ADLs antisemitism education programs.
  • Respond to regional staff requests for programmatic support and provide guidance and resources where appropriate.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • A proven commitment to making the world a better place
  • Experience with Salesforce proficiency with a broad range of collaboration/project management tools preferred.

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has nearly a decade of experience and is able to demonstrate a progressive increase in responsibility in program management and development including significant expertise working on issues affecting the Jewish community.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business/non-profit management Jewish studies and/or education or equivalent work experience required;
  • Masters degree preferred

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.
