Our global network includes facilities in Canada the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global Position:The Electrical Engineering Hardware Designer will contribute to machine concepts design of control hardware machine electrical wiring diagrams while ensuring the machine can operate safely. The incumbent will perform those tasks while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Youll Be Doing:Design and develop machine electrical designs as per customer and project requirements based on standard Eclipse methodsProvide electrical design assistance during the mechanical design and integration phases of the projectSelect hardware components such as AC devices DC devices PLCs and IO robots analog devices motion controllers sensors vision systems and lasersParticipate is safety risk assessments and ensure the electrical design can support the findings of the safety risk assessmentWork with other members of the Controls Engineering department and other groups to continuously improve methods of design with the goal of enhanced safety enhanced functionality and reduced costPerform engineering calculations such as short-circuit current rating or panel heat loss/coolingProvide accurate documentation for each projectAdvise customers on solving technical problemsWork requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work within a team environment and actively participate in group meetingsEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
