Medical Billing Specialist (Revenue Cycle Management) Bilingual Spanish Preferred
Reliant Healthcare Groupis seeking an experiencedMedical Billing Specialist with strong Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertiseto join our growing healthcare organization. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing efficient collections and maximum reimbursement across our clinics. This position isnot entry-level. We are looking for a billing professional with hands-on experience managing thefull revenue cycle including AR follow-up payer communication and claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities (RCM-Focused)
- Manageend-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)for assigned clinics or departments
- Verify insurance benefits forcommercial plans and Medicaid MCOs
- Work accounts receivable (AR) throughclearinghouses and third-party billing platforms
- Performactive follow-up on outstanding claims (30 days)to drive timely collections
- Conductmonthly AR aging reviewsand resolve unpaid or underpaid claims
- Post payments reconcile accounts and resolve patient billing issues
- Obtain and manageinsurance authorizationsas required for treatments
- Review claims for accuracy andcorrect errors to prevent denials or delays
- Interpretpayer contracts and reimbursement rulesto resolve billing exceptions
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-up tomaximize reimbursement
- Communicate effectively with insurance carriers patients and internal teams
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Medical Billing with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience
- Proven experience inmedical collections and AR follow-up
- Strong knowledge ofmedical office operations
- Hands-on experience withEMR/EHR systems
- Solid understanding ofmedical terminology
- Working knowledge ofmedical coding(CPT ICD-9 ICD-10; DRG preferred)
- Experience withaccount reconciliation and payment posting
- Ability to independently manage payer follow-ups and claim resolution
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience billingMedicaid MCOs
- Familiarity with multi-clinic or multi-provider billing environments
