This facilitates the removal of health-related barriers to learning and promotes promoting an optimal level of wellness for students and for direct and indirect care given to students in compliance with professional standards of practice licensed health care provider orders Individual Health Care Plans and with school district in accordance with the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act and Rules and Regulations NH State Department of Education Rules and Regulations and the school districts policies and with a wide variety of schoolsystem district and professional disciplines to enhance the educational process and the promotion of an optimal level of wellness for School Nurse clinically functions independently and is self-directedThe specifics of these duties and responsibilities are defined at the building level:Organizes administers and manages school health supervision of licensed practical nurse or licensed nursing assistant working in the school in the preparation and implementation of the school health services budget and maintains an inventory of needed supplies in the health the maintenance of accurate health records for all children and the submission of all reports relating to the health of children to the State or other appropriate on school and/or District Wellness Team and assists with related policy as a member on a school-wide team to help identify students at risk for physical and psychosocial changes for safety hazards and sanitary conditions in the school and participation in the establishment review and implementation of District school health services policies and professional expertise in emergency management leadership in the planning of proper emergency care and first aid for sudden illnesses and accidents incurred during school for the formulation revision and implementation of the Individual Health Care the health screenings on an as needed basis. Interprets the health screening results to parents and teachers and assists in the follow-up and referral of as a liaison between the family school health care professionals and community to improve the holistic health needs of as the health expert on Individualized Education Plan and 504 as a health consultant and resource person for the health education in the assist in the coordination of the Health opportunities provided by illness and/or injury to teach principles of personal safety modes of transmissions of communicable diseases signs and symptoms of illness personal hygiene prevention of disease and first students families and school personnel to achieve optimal levels of wellness through health services and health training to staff members for health-related the dignity confidentiality and rights of all students and regulations and laws related to confidentiality reporting of child abuse and neglect and other health-related professional competencies through in-service educational activities and self-selected professional growth and participation in the establishment review and implementation of District school health services policies and other tasks or services directly related to this & Professional GrowthThe individual in this position is expected to participate in the professional growth and evaluation process in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Professional Development Master Minimum Qualification Or Standards RequiredOccasionally stooping bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
