In financial statement audit at PwC you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement whether due to fraud or error and to issue an auditors report that includes the auditors opinion.
AsaSeniorAssociateatourSofiaofficeyoullbekeyinglobalassuranceassignmentsrelatedtoEU fundedinitiatives.YoulljoinadedicatedteamservingtheEuropeanCommissionengagingindiverseandchallengingprojectsworldwidebothon-siteandremotely.Thisrolewillenhanceyourpersonalandtechnicalskillsofferingexposuretovariousteamsandculturesdeepeningyourexpertiseinexternalauditandassuranceandprovidingongoingpracticaltraining.
Responsibilities:
Beacrucialteammemberexecutingagreed-uponproceduresespeciallyexpenditureverificationsofEU-fundedprojectsfollowingprotocolsofgrantstwinningserviceandsupplycontractsconstructionprojectsdelegationandcontributionagreementsunderPRAGandTwinningManuals.
Documentproceduresmethodicallywithinadedicatedauditplatform.
WorkwithauditteamsliaisingwiththeEuropeanCommissionitsDelegationsreportingentitiesandotherexpertstodeliverhigh-qualityservice.
Buildandmaintainstrongclientrelationships.
Adaptandthriveinaninternationalworkingenvironment.
Requirements:
Minimumof3yearsofauditexperience.
ExperienceinauditingEU-fundedprojectsoraudit/verificationofsuchprojectsisaplus.
BachelorsorMastersdegreeinFinanceAccountingEconomicsorarelatedfield.
Membershipinanationalorinternationalaccounting/auditingbodysuchasACCAisadvantageous.
WillingnesstotravelinternationallymainlywithinEurope; avalidinternationalpassportis.
FluentinEnglishwithexperienceinEnglish-languageworkingenvironments.
ProficiencyinanadditionalEuropeanlanguage(FrenchItalianSpanishorPortuguese)ishighlybeneficial.
Proactiveapproachandabilitytoprioritizetasks.
Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
Strongteamworkskillsandabilitytomanagemultipleresponsibilities.
