Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a Maintenance & Safety Manager to join our team in Charlotte NC. We are looking for someone with previous experience who is ready to skyrocket their career as we build a new facility! As our Maintenance & Safety Manager you will take ownership of our facility in Charlotte NC. You will manage day-to-day facility operations by ensuring all of our equipment and production team is operating in good health and working cross functionally with other addition to daily maintenance you will have the opportunity to identify areas of improvement and help build best practices. You will be the go to person for all maintenance and safety needs within your facility. If you are an ambitious self starter eager to join an exciting team please read on!
What Youll Do:
- Build and develop team of Maintenance supervisors and hourly staff supporting the equipment and asset performance
- Provide leadership to the plant EHS function including strategy development policies procedures risk assessments and incident investigations
- Coordinate equipment and building repairs
- Maintain adequate inventory of operations equipment and order items as necessary managing overall budget
- Communicate building and team needs to management
- Evaluate the safety protocols followed at the production facility organize safety training for employees and report problems to management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (e.g. OSHA city of Charlotte etc.)
What Youll Need to Have:
Required:
- 3 years experience in Maintenance and Facility management
- Previous experience with plant Environmental Health and Safety
- Previous experience managing plant maintenance team(s)
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Understanding of warehouse electrical HVAC and mechanical systems
- Local to Charlotte NC
Preferred:
- Conversational Spanish
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
Compensation:
- $85000 - $110000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
