Were looking for a Health & Safety professional who brings strong expertise in New Zealand legislation and a real passion for building safer work environments across our Commercial Group.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. You will lead health and safety systems and performance advise executive leadership and governance and work closely with leaders and kaimahi to embed a strong proactive safety culture.
The role spans diverse commercial and operational environments and requires a practical values-aligned approach to risk management and wellbeing. You will support continuous improvement and meaningful engagement at all levels of the organisation.
You will be a confident and collaborative Health & Safety leader driving strategy and performance across the Commercial Group. The role includes advising leadership and Boards managing hazards and incidents preparing reports building capability and fostering a proactive values-driven safety culture. A collaborative mindset and commitment to manaakitanga and tiakitanga are essential.
