Raytheons Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements.

As a Production Test Engineer (PTE) youll apply your skills to develop test modify and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in development of Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions workflow/routing labor standards tool and fixture designs
• Supporting daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting and incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP
• Dispositioning non-conforming material using root cause and corrective action analysis and working on corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence
• Assisting with driving Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers automate and reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using Core / Six Sigma principles and data driven decision making
• Assisting with tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into processes
• Providing real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.

This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheons East Camden AR facility.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically Requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience preferably in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Engineering and/or manufacturing experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Technical drawing interpretation Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with automated tooling machinery and programmingand proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE)
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplinesand an innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology
• Knowledge and ability to apply CORE principles and techniques
• Ability to work in a team environmentwith the organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
• Current DoD security clearance (secret)

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
