Our controllers are highly configurable allowing for optimization of room and fume hood Systems Design Assistant (4 Month Summer Term) Antec ControlsWe are looking for a student who is technically inclined who thrives on new challenges and who enjoys working in a collaborative successful candidates responsibilities will include:Supporting product designers in each stage of the design processSupporting the scoping of firmware and software sprintsImplementing firmware and software changesPerforming and documenting testing both benchtop and in mockup roomsAnalyzing and interpreting test resultsSupporting the release of firmware sprints into productionThe ideal candidate for this position will have:Enrolled in post-secondary education for Computer or Electrical Engineering or Technologist Computer Science or equivalentExperience with software or firmware developmentExcellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills with an eye for detailA co-operative team player attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environmentAn aptitude and willingness to learn new skillsA high level of critical thinking and accountabilityExperience with C/C programming considered an assetExperience with hand tools and wiring considered an assetAt Antec Controls we believe in hiring based on team fit.
