As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of raw materials and finished goods using McCain owned or leased equipment. This role supports plant and warehouse operations by completing trailer moves setting refrigerated equipment for proper product storage and transporting materials to and from offsite storage locations. When not driving Truck Drivers may assist in other departmental areas including operating forklifts.

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of yard trucks tractors trailers and forklifts to move materials within the facility and to offsite locations. This position ensures compliance with safety regulations GMPs and plant procedures while maintaining accurate documentation and equipment readiness.
Complete trailer moves in a safe and efficient manner.
Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from offsite storage facilities.
Operate yard trucks tractors trailers and forklifts as required.
Set refrigerated trailers at pre-determined temperatures for safe product storage and shipment.
Inspect all trucks and trailers for safety and cleanliness.
Conduct yard checks and clean tractors and trailers as required.
Adhere to GMP USDA OSHA plant guidelines and departmental policies.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurately complete required paperwork.
Work in other departmental areas when not driving to support facility needs.
Utilize computer systems and SAP for receiving shipping and pallet tracking.
Perform additional tasks as requested by warehouse management to meet operational demands.
Class A CDL with medical endorsements required.
Forklift certification required.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
Clean driving record required.
Computer proficiency including SAP knowledge for shipping receiving and tracking.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Willingness to cross-train and work in a team-based environment.
Physically capable of performing all required duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing throughout the shift.
Ability to work in cold temperature environments.
Must meet physical vision and hearing requirements in accordance with federal regulations.
Must possess the ability to safely operate yard trucks forklifts and other equipment as required.

Compensation Package:$ - $ Starting at 26.83 USD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
