In this critical position you will drive our value engineering and sustainability initiatives by ensuring every product meets the highest standards of functionality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive test plans defining acceptance criteria guiding laboratory technicians and analysing test results for products manufactured at our Nagykanizsa facility.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong mechanical or mechatronic engineering background and hands-on experience in testing mechanical productssomeone who is passionate about precision problem-solving and continuous improvement.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and lead requirements creation setting up detailed test plans for hydronic water products with a focus on temperature and pressure testing
- Configure and maintain test benches and equipment upgrading as needed to align with evolving product requirements
- Coordinate and support the activities of the onsite lab technician ensuring smooth operations and adherence to testing protocols
- Execute product and component testing ensuring compliance with quality and functionality standards
- Communicate test results effectively with cross-functional teams providing clear insights and recommendations
- Plan resources for Value Engineering (VE) and Cost Engineering (CE) validation activities optimising efficiency and timelines
- Manage and enhance the capabilities of our Nagykanizsa test laboratory while fostering strong collaboration with laboratories across other manufacturing sites
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation including test plans and reports
- Work closely with production teams to investigate product defects and assess overall product functionality
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Educational or professional background in mechanical or mechatronic engineering
- Previous exposure to mechanical product testing coupled with a strong desire to build a career in test engineering
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly summarise technical results for non-technical stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail comfortable working with numbers and interpreting complex data sets
- Fluency in English and Hungarian (both written and spoken).
