Within Advisory PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Governmentwith focus onSustainability Climate Change Environment& Digital Solutions. The open position is for a candidate whodesiresto work withsuchclients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over theperiod of timeand take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.

Responsibilities

• Organizing various awareness programmes/workshops/seminars/about circular economy principles and variouswaste sectors to enhance social responsibility corporatesustainabilityand regulatory compliance.

• Continuouslymonitoringand evaluating the progressof sustainability initiativesof corporates andvariousRajasthan state ownedprogrammes.

• Collectanalyzeand interpret sustainability relateddata to track progressidentifytrends andassistin decision making on the same

• Exploring agencieswho have developed different models on fordifferent typesof waste generated in the countryand alsoin the State of Rajasthan

• Exploringvarious typesof innovative waste recycling technologies onSolid Waste/Plastic Waste/Hazardous Waste/MSW etc

• Identifyingopportunitiesforrecycling/upcycling and remanufacturing of waste.

• Assisting the Departmenton other work in Sustainability & Circularity

Mandatory skill sets:

-depth Understanding of Circular Economy Principles

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of circular economy models including the 3Rs (Reduce Reuse Recycle) product lifecycle thinking and regenerative design.

• Familiarity with concepts like cradle-to-cradle design biomimicry resource efficiency and closed-loop systems.

and Environmental Science

• Understanding ofsustainability frameworks (e.g. UN Sustainable Development Goals).

• Environmental impact assessment and life cycle analysis (LCA).

• Knowledge of materials science relating to biodegradability recyclability and toxicity.

• Awareness of relevant environmental waste management and circular economy policies and regulations locally and internationally.
