Custodian

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Custodian. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12:00am.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of general cleaning and custodial work.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 6 months of building cleaning experience preferred
2. Must have current CDL and have current DMV clearance.
3. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
4. Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Sweep dust mop scrub and vacuum.

2. Dust wax wash and polish furniture and woodwork.

3. Wash windows walls window shades and windowsills ledges and Venetian blinds.

4. Clean heating and air conditioning ventilators.

5. Clean and dust books and shelves and polish metal work.

6. Clean and disinfect rest rooms.

7. Empty and clean waste receptacles.

8. Turn out lights and lock doors and windows: activate alarm system as required.

9. Maintain equipment and keep work area clean.
