This positionis responsible forcultivatingsoliciting and stewarding donations to support PPGNHAIKs mission and programs as well as forour sister organization Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates (C4).ThePhilanthropy Officer II will actively manage a portfolio of key donorstohelpachieveour teams fundraising goals. This position requires collaboration with other Philanthropy Officers department leadership and cross-department and Grow a Donor Portfolio:Oversee a portfolio of 100-150 major donorswho havehistorical giving or proven capacity typicallyat$ executepersonalizedcultivationplansfor each donorthatleadto in-person engagement achieving 5-6donor meetings/ Solicitation and Stewardship:Develop and implementtailored strategies tosolicitgiftsface-to-faceas well asexpress gratitudeand impactin creative upgrade donors from the major donor portfolio into the principal giving portfolio (six-figure gifts).Philanthropy Writing:Prepare writtenmaterials includingfundingproposals impact reports anddonor volunteer :Utilizesenior staff and board members or other volunteers in major donor activities asappropriate includingpreparing meeting briefs with talking points andassigning thank-you Events and Engagement: Play an active role in organizing andparticipatinginWA-basedfundraising eventsand major donor engagement Representation and Advocacy:RepresentPPGNHAIK at external events and meetings whenappropriate acting as an ambassador for the organization. Stay informed on current local and national issues related to PPGNHAIKs mission to speak knowledgeably on behalf of the and Progress Tracking:Maintainaccuraterecords of donor interactions and progress toward goals in the departments database. Monitor and report on key performance metrics in alignment with team Learning:Participatein relevant training and meetings to enhance job knowledge and stay informed about trends in philanthropy major giving duties as assigned to support the growth and success of PPGNHAIKs fundraising Qualifications:Track recordof managing amajordonor portfolio and successfullysoliciting$25K major writtencommunication skillswith the ability to engage and inspire donorsand internal toutilizefundraising databases; Raisers Edge experience to work both independently and as part of adynamicteam; Ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staffacross the to assess priorities and manage a variety of competing tasks in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail and best practices especially in the context of to travel within the staterequiredAbility to work occasional nights and weekendsCFRE or equivalent credentials a Qualifications:Associates degree or above Range:$78164 - $145163 annually depending on experience and qualifications. This range represents the minimum and maximum compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role in Washington State.
