At Parks Hospitality Group we are seeking an experienced and professional Banquet Captain to join our Food & Beverage this key role you will ensure an exceptional experience for clients and guests during events by delivering top-tier service coordinating between departments and overseeing banquet staff to ensure seamless event execution.
What Youll Do:
- Set up and break down banquet rooms including tables chairs linens and decorations following event specifications.
- Greet guests upon arrival assist with seating arrangements and address any needs or concerns.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards and alcohol regulations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly respond to requests or concerns.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Set up monitor and refresh event stations such as buffets or coffee breaks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and equipment throughout events.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
What Youll Need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in event coordination or banquet service.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
