Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services along with managing delivery teams programmes commercials performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimising of the managed services process tools and services.

As a Finance and Accounting Managed Services Senior Associateyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Use a broad range of toolsmethodologiesand techniques to generatenew ideasand solve problems

Use critical thinking to break down complex concepts

Understand the broaderobjectivesof your project or role and how your work fits into the overall strategy

Develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing

Interpret data to inform insights and recommendations

Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g.refer to specific PwC guidance) the Firms code of conduct and independence requirements

Experiences and skillsyoulluse to solve

Hands on experience in accounting or finance with a strongtrack recordin financial reporting and/or management accounting

Pursuing your Canadian CPA or other accounting designation is an asset

Experience with cloud accounting software is considered an asset

Proficiencyin digital and/or data analysis tools

Demonstrate a self-starter mindset by proactivelyidentifyingopportunities taking ownership of tasks and driving projects forward while showing flexibility and adaptability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Approach projects with a detail-oriented mindset ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout all stages of the process

Demonstrate coachability by actively seeking feedback embracing growth opportunities and pursuing continuous development

Actively mentor and support engagement team members by sharingexpertiseand feedback helping them grow and contribute to a collaborative high-performing and inclusive environment for their engagements

The ability to clearly present findings and recommendations both written and verbally is vital

Prepare complex analysis and reconciliation that form components of monthly quarterly and annualconsolidatedfinancial statements across multiple entities

Execute and oversee robust financial close process

Knowledge of and experience in end-to-end accounting process

Experience in presenting findings and results to stakeholders both internally and externally

The salary range for this position is $65600 - $109300.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range forPwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary isdeterminedby your skills experiencequalificationsand work location.In addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
