Job Summary
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Broad knowledge of instructional methods activities and the development of children ages 6 to 12.
- Promotes philosophy of Learning Through Play.
- Knowledge of children and youth programming.
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Person-Centered Care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with peers participants parents and the public.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with children 6-12 years.
- Valid CPR and First Aid- Level C with AED.
- Criminal Record Check and Child and Youth Intervention Record Check.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a reliable mode of transportation.
- Post-secondary education (completed or working towards) in a related field considered an asset.
