Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Technician based in Newport News VA area with some work-from-home flexibility. The Environmental Technician will be responsible for assisting with environmental services such as waste management soil remediation hazardous and non hazardous waste disposal. Day-to-day tasks include conducting on-site projects sampling activities and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while maintaining clear communication with the team and clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with Environmental Services and containerized waste and bulk waste removal
Understanding of Groundwater and Soil assessment and monitoring
Strong Communication skills for interaction with customers team members and stakeholders
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Familiarity with applicable environmental laws and regulations
Bachelors degree in Chemistry Environmental Science Geology or related field preferred
Experience working in hazardous or non-hazardous waste management would be an advantage
