Job Summary

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their established support team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional academic emotional or behavioural support helping them to access learning confidently and successfully.

The school has a strong inclusive ethos and places great importance on collaboration between teachers support staff and external professionals. Staff benefit from clear guidance structured routines and a positive working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support

  • Supporting pupils with EHCP targets

  • Assisting with classroom activities and routines

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Recording progress and feeding back to teaching staff

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN

  • A calm patient and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding
