Job Summary

The Role
You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental need. The role focuses on delivering engaging and skill-based lessons that encourage experimentation confidence and independent thinking.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons aligned with the curriculum
Teaching a range of techniques including drawing painting mixed media and design processes
Assessing and moderating coursework in line with examination requirements
Encouraging originality creativity and personal expression
Maintaining high standards of behaviour presentation and studio safety
Contributing to displays exhibitions and enrichment activities
Working collaboratively within a supportive department
