While we actively develop AI-based solutions and algorithms our work relies heavily on human judgment ideation and strategy development before automation is applied. The role you are applying for is a key part of that foundation.
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Operations & Research Associate (mwd) to support our team in identifying and processing copyright infringements across major social media platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of research analytics and structured data work. You will work hands-on with social media content help discover and evaluate potential infringement cases and contribute ideas on how detection strategies can be improved before they are automated.
This is not a purely repetitive role. We are explicitly looking for someone who thinks independently understands context and applies common sense when deciding what constitutes a relevant case and what does not.
Tasks
What You Will Do
- Manually and semi-automatically research content on social media platforms (especially Instagram and similar channels)
- Identify and assess potential copyright infringements involving audio video and image assets
- Evaluate commercial vs. non-commercial use based on defined criteria and practical judgment
- Document findings in a structured way and process cases in internal systems
- Support the development and testing of new detection approaches and search strategies
- Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve workflows and detection quality
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Very strong intuitive understanding of social media platforms (especially Instagram) and how people and businesses actually use them
- High level of curiosity and ability to discover new angles patterns and approaches independently
- Strong analytical thinking combined with practical common sense
- Comfortable with research-heavy work pattern recognition and structured data entry
- Able to understand business logic and apply it consistently when evaluating cases
- Reliable detail-oriented and able to work independently after onboarding
Previous experience in legal compliance media research operations or platform-related roles is a plus but not required. What matters most is platform intuition judgment and mindset.
