As a Software Engineer youll help build our nextgeneration webshop that empowers customers to understand compare and feel confident when purchasing their insurance products all through clean code and thoughtful design. Right now we are looking for a Software Engineer to the squad that work with Ifs Danish webshop!
About the role
At If we exist to help our customers and technology plays a key role in how we do that. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help develop and operate the Danish webshop one of If Denmarks most important customerfacing digital solutions.
You will join an empowered selforganised squad with endtoend responsibility for development and operations working closely with business analysts product owners and UX specialists.
Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer include
- Maintaining and further developing an existing Guidewirebased webshop
- Developing a new stateoftheart webshop for If Denmark using (C#) and
- Working fullstack across frontend backend and API development
- Taking endtoend responsibility for developing operating and continuously improving the solution
- Collaborating closely within a crossfunctional and distributed team
- Contributing to technical discussions and ensuring highquality stable solutions

About the team
You will join a crossfunctional team of around 10 people based in Ballerup and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The team works in an agile setup and takes full ownership of the webshop from development all the way to production.
Who are you
For the role of Software Engineer we believe you are a collaborative team player who feels comfortable working in empowered teams. Strong communication skills are important enabling you to understand and interact with different roles and bridge the gap between business and technology. You have a customercentric mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
- You have 5 years of experience working as a software engineer with documented Guidewire expertise.
- Experience working with Gosu (Java) in a Guidewire context.
- Experience with React and
- Experience (C#) and API development is beneficial but not required.
