Job Summary

Computacenter is Europes leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services enabling users and their Operations division is looking for a Consultant who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the infrastructure and systems.
What youll do
- Design & Deploy Cloud Solutions: Architect and implement cloud-based systems using platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and management.
- Cloud Security: Implement and maintain security measures including identity and access management encryption and compliance controls.
- Migration: Plan and execute migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.
- Performance Optimization: Configure auto-scaling load balancing and monitor resource usage for cost efficiency.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for cloud deployments.
- Disaster Recovery: Establish backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues providing support to development teams.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture configurations and processes.
What youll need
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of networking security principles and cloud monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Administrator etc.) preferred
