Werelooking for a reliable and approachable Site Security & Amenities Operative to join our growing Estates and Security team supporting the safe and smooth operation of our school facilities during after-school activities and external lettings.
This is a hands-on people-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys being active on site providing excellent customer service and playing a visible part in keeping our school community safesecureand well supported.
This is a newly created role within our evolving Estates and Security structure designed to strengthen on-site supervision and support as our school continues to grow and develop. Alongside this post we are also recruiting a Security & Amenities Managerand a Security & Amenities Supervisor creating a small dedicated team focused on maintaining a safe welcoming and well-managed site for our school community and external users.

The Role
As a Site Security & Amenities Operativeyoullwork within a shift pattern under the direction of the Security & Amenities Supervisor providing on-site security and facilities support during evenings and weekends.
Your role will include:
Carrying out regular site patrols and security checks including monitoring access points and exits
Monitoring site activity and appropriately challenging unsafe or unacceptablebehaviour
Acting as a friendly and professional point of contact for external lettings users
Supporting setup and takedown of roomscourtsand pitches via the helpdesk
Ensuring facilities are left safetidyand secure at the end of activities
Monitoring litter debris and playing surfaces including frost or moss build-up
Supporting car park management and traffic flow whenrequired
Managing lost property
IssuingcolleaugeID cards following HR approval
Conducting external security patrols
Monitoring and reporting on the swimming pool in line with agreed procedures
This role requires flexibility including evening and weekend working to ensureappropriate securitycoverage across the school year
Werelooking for a reliableprofessionaland customer-focused individual who takes pride inmaintaininghigh be confident working independently and as part of a team calm under pressure physically active and committed to safeguarding health and safety at all in a security or facilities role is helpful but notessentialthe right attitude and approach are key.
