Werelooking for an experienced and proactive Security and Amenities Manager to lead and deliver a comprehensive security strategy across our beautiful 130-acre school estate.
This is a senior operational role with real impactensuring the safety and security of pupils colleaguesvisitorsand external users while fostering a culture of vigilanceprofessionalismand care across our school strong leadership soundjudgementand a steady presence particularly in high-pressure situations.
The role would suit someone with a background in the military police or wider uniformed services or an experienced security professional who enjoys combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.
This is a newly created role within our evolving Estates and Security structure designed to strengthen on-site supervision and support as our school continues to grow and develop. Alongside this post we are also recruiting a Security & Amenities Supervisor and a Security & Amenities Operative creating a small dedicated team focused on maintaining a safe welcoming and well-managed site for our school community and external users.

As Security and Amenities Manageryoullprovide strategic leadership and operational oversight of security across the school working closely with the Director of Estatesand senior leaders.
Your role will include:
Developing and delivering the schools Security Strategypoliciesand procedures
Leading compliance with Martyns Law (Protect Duty)and wider statutory requirements
Conducting regular security risk and threat assessmentsacross the campus
Coordinating responses to critical incidents working closely with emergency services
Overseeing lockdown procedurestrainingand scenario-based exercises
Managing and developing the Security and Amenities Team includingrotasperformanceand wellbeing
Ensuring effective operation ofaccess control CCTV visitormanagementand perimeter security
Providing security advice and risk assessments forevents and external lettings
This role requires flexibility including evening and weekend working to ensureappropriate securitycoverage across the school year.
We are looking for an experienced confident security leader with a calm professional approach strong people-managementskillsand the ability to manage riskincidentsand safety in a complex environment always with integrity and sound judgement.
