In support for the University Strategic Plan and Future Horizon IT Services seeks to drive the transformation of a truly innovative digital technology experience in creating a vibrant campus for business industry start-ups health sectors local and global investors researchers students alumni and the broader community to come together to learn innovate and collaborate.

Your New Role!

This hybrid Business Analyst/Scrum Master position is ideal for a T-shaped professionalsomeone with deep expertise and broad collaboration skillswho thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment. Youll work across multiple initiatives partnering with diverse stakeholders to deliver meaningful high-impact solutions.

As a Business Analyst youll collaborate with both business and technical teams to translate strategic goals into working software using the Microsoft Power Platform suite. This is a hands-on cross-functional role where youll wear many hats: problem solver communicator collaborator and change agent. Youll play a key role in driving continuous improvement managing stakeholder expectations and delivering exceptional outcomes for users and the business.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Actively building and maintaining effective partnerships with a diverse group of stakeholders to determine business requirements for projects.
  • Serve as the conduit between business units and IT groups to develop a clear and concise set of business requirements in collaboration with the business and technical groups established to support these processes.
  • Undertake workshops with project stakeholders to define and analyse requirements.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing developing reusable test cases coordinating testing cycles and reporting testing outcomes.
  • Deliver appropriate user focused system documentation including user manuals quick reference guides user help documentation and training materials.
  • Deliver appropriate enterprise architecture documentation including business process maps and technical documentation.
  • From an ITS context represent the project in various governance and project forums.

This Continuous Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $99697.00 $130908.00 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Proven track record in business analysis.
  • Developing quality business requirements documentation process maps training material and user guides.
  • Proven ability to earn the trust of sponsors and facilitate stakeholder partnerships providing sound judgement and agility to change based on business requirements.
  • Proven successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Experience with project and change management methodologies and knowledge bases including Prince2 PMBOK and Prosci.
