Position Details

Charlotte Country Day School seeks an Academic Analytics Manager to provide leadership in academic scheduling data stewardship and decision support across the Upper School. This highly collaborative people-facing role serves as a key partner to academic leaders faculty and student support teams ensuring that academic systems are accurate coherent and aligned with student needs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and organizational skills the ability to manage complex systems with precision and a commitment to ethical student-centered use of data. Maintaining a strong teaching presence is an integral part of the role and ensures that institutional decisions remain grounded in classroom experience.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Upper School Scheduling & Academic Operations
    • Build maintain and manage the annual Upper School master schedule.
    • Coordinate faculty teaching assignments in collaboration with department chairs and administrators.
    • Partner in the design and oversight of exam schedules including proctoring assignments.
    • Manage schedule adjustments and special academic configurations throughout the year.
    • Manage student grade records for accuracy and completeness including the data entry and publishing process for grade reports final grades and faculty narrative comment entry.
    • Serve as a trusted and responsive primary point of contact for students families faculty and administrators regarding academic records and scheduling.
    • Ensure accuracy of student faculty and room schedules.
    • Other duties as assigned including attending regular faculty meetings professional learning days and additional student-related supervision responsibilities.
  • Academic Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze course-taking patterns enrollment trends grade distributions and academic pathways.
    • Support College Counseling through analysis of student outcomes and longitudinal trends.
    • Partner with academic leaders to evaluate placement practices prerequisites and long-term academic planning.
  • Academic Systems & Data Stewardship
    • Oversee academic data within the Veracross SIS and related platforms.
    • Ensure accuracy consistency and integrity of academic records grades transcripts and reports.

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Teaching Expectations
    • Teach 23 Upper School classes to maintain direct engagement with students and faculty.
    • Ensure that scheduling and data decisions remain grounded in instructional realities.
    • Foster trust and collaboration across the faculty through shared classroom experience.
  • Data Experience
    • Experience managing academic schedules academic data or student information systems in a school or comparable educational setting.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
    • Commitment to ethical data use student privacy and institutional integrity.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and constituencies.
