Were proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) and were looking for the best people to help make it happen.
This role is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of end-to-end Human Resources services across our new state-of-the-art Torbanlea facility and our established Maryborough Service Delivery Centre with a strong focus on supporting site operational teams through effective HR leadership. The position will manage and develop a People & Culture Business Partner and work closely with the broader People & Culture function to drive consistent high-quality people practices.
You will play a key role in partnering with operational leaders contributing to workforce planning employee relations and the implementation of HR strategies aligned to business objectives.
About you
- 7 years experience with Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a HR leadership or management role ideally within a blue-collar or operational environment
- Strong experience supporting operational management with the interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements and industrial instruments
- Proven capability in employee relations case management investigations and performance management
- Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices and relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act workers compensation and anti-discrimination legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work autonomously influence outcomes and collaborate effectively within a team
