Job Summary:
To convey job specification to printers and binders; to track status of jobs; to respond to customer questions; and to maintain print job archives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process print jobs create job files and maintain production record database
- Handle heavy incoming and outgoing telephone traffic
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding job pricing specifications status etc.
- Record monitor and verify revenues expenditures and budgets of various district funds
- Cash manage various district funds to include data entry audit and reporting
- Process and monitor accounts receivable
- Prepare bid invitations for outside vendor printing projects
- Typeset text files
- Assist in bindery and pre-press tasks
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
- Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
Required Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent
Skills & Competencies:

- Moderate proficiency in typing with good accuracy; excellent test battery; high math aptitude
- Excellent vocabulary grammar and spelling skills with accurate attention to detail
- MacIntosh proficiency to include use of Word excel Pagemaker and Quark required
- Ability to operate standard office machines and equipment
- Ability to organize to prioritize and to meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions and with minimum supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with district personnel and outside agencies
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Located in a centralized print shop within the school districts facilities or at the district office
- Fast-paced production-oriented setting involving frequent deadlines and multitasking
- May work independently or as part of a small team; regular communication with teachers administrators and other staff to fulfill print requests
- Extended periods of standing and walking often throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting and moving of paper stock boxes and printed materialsusually up to 50 lbs.
