The Inside Sales role is the administrative and logistical backbone of the branch. This role is designed to bridge the gap between sales and the warehouse ensuring SAP data integrity inventory accuracy and administrative compliance. By owning the back-office and inventory tasks this role allows the Inside Sales team to focus exclusively on customer experience and showroom growth.
1. Inventory & Warehouse Integrity
SAP Receiving: Execute all vendor PO and STO receipts in SAP ($ZMIGO$) within 24 hours of Counting: Manage daily geographic verifications and on-demand cycle counts ($ZM120/M107$).Warehouse Organization: Maintain the Missing Bin report and ensure all new stock is assigned a Accuracy: Take full ownership of printing and updating shelf edge price tags ($ZPRICETAGN$).
2. Administrative Compliance Document Management:
Scan all delivery tickets into Docuware daily ($N/A$).Compliance Tracking: Monitor and action Medical License and Cylinder Lease renewals ($ZLERR$).Order Hygiene: Review and clear delivery/billing blocks and incomplete orders ($ZOTCM$).Billing Support: Assist with AR over 60 tracking and customer follow-ups on late payments.
3. Branch Operations & Sales Support
CES Email Management: Monitor the Greenville branch email; prioritize and delegate requests to ensure 100% response rates.Counter Coverage: Provide daily scheduled relief for Inside Sales staff to ensure mandatory lunch breaks are Logic: Handle inbound phone calls; enter orders directly into SAP to prevent bottlenecks.
Industry Knowledge: of products industrial gases and safety supplies is highly preferred. * Welding Background: A background in welding or metal fabrication (technical or sales) is a significant advantage as it helps in understanding our customers specific needs.
Preferred:
Strong background in data entry inventory management or back-office operations.
Experience using ERP software (such as SAP) for receiving and order management.
A quality-first mindset with a focus on data integrity and compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating between the warehouse and sales departments.
