Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions and ensure accurate timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge leadership capability and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post month-end journal entries and support the month-end close process
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and regulations
Handle tax reporting filings and regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in and support external audits including preparation of audit schedules
Assist with ERP system implementation and ongoing system improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills
Proficiency with accounting software particularly QuickBooks
Experience participating in ERP implementations or system upgrades
In-depth understanding of accounting regulations and financial reporting
Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
