Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership in an Agile environment guiding engineers and ensuring best practices through code reviews and quality standards. This role involves collaborating with product teams business analysts and other technical leads to deliver scalable solutions using Java modern web technologies ( TypeScript SPA) and GraphQL while managing cross-team dependencies. Additional responsibilities include supporting cloud deployments on Azure driving TDD/BDD practices and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Leading engineers in an agile team
Ensuring best practices and technical quality with frequent code reviews
Working with business analysts and product team to provide technical analysis on upcoming work
Working closely with other tech leads technical leadership architecture platform and test teams
Managing cross-team technical dependencies
Presenting technical information to stakeholders as required

Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in Java development
Experience of modern web development ideally using VueJS
Experience of TypeScript
Ideally experience of Azure and ADO
Experience using GraphQL
Ideally experience leading and mentoring engineers
Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies (TDD/BDD/Gherkin/Cucumber)
Preferably experience of Single-page Applications (SPA)
