General Purpose of Job

This role is dedicated to driving new business and project development while managing key accounts and strategic partnerships to ensure sustainable growth in China. The position plays a critical part in aligning local initiatives with global and regional strategies to achieve long-term business objectives.

Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead develop and execute new business opportunities and projects to sustain the growth in China.
  • Identify engage and negotiate with key accounts and strategic partners to create win-win business opportunities for both parties.
  • Explore growth opportunities in new markets and customers. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing teams to evaluate these opportunities and implement execution plans.
  • Work together with various teams to develop business cases and deliver compelling presentations for new initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance commercial excellence in the region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance channel excellence to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or above. MBA is a plus
  • Field of study: Science Engineering Business Marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 10 years in chemical industry

Specific Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven track records in commercial marketing or business development with a minimum of 10 years experience.
  • In-depth understanding of related industries / markets / segments.
  • Good business development and channel management skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and external partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain good partnership with customers.
  • Strong self-motivation execution ability and resilience.
  • Willing to travel 50% of working time.
