Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and professional Residential Security Officers to support an affordable housing community in Providence RI. This role focuses on maintaining a safe calm and respectful environment for residents visitors and property staff. Officers must demonstrate strong communication skills patience sound judgment and the ability to de-escalate situations appropriately.
Responsibilities
-Conduct routine patrols of building interiors common areas entrances and surrounding property
-Monitor access points to help prevent unauthorized entry and loitering
-Maintain a visible approachable security presence for residents and staff
-Respond calmly and professionally to disturbances safety concerns and resident requests
-Observe document and report incidents safety hazards and policy violations
-Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
-Assist residents and visitors with directions and general safety support
-Enforce property rules respectfully and consistently
-Coordinate with supervisors property management and emergency services when necessary
Schedule
Overnight Hours (9:00 PM-5:00 AM)
