The Supervisor Repair Technician provides guidance and direction to the Repair Technician group. Manages team efforts to repair and test mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Ensures team has the required drawings sketches wiring diagrams and written oral instructions to understand and perform repair and/or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical product and quality requirements.
Responsibilities- Provides day-to-day frontline supervision for an assigned team of Repair Technicians.
- Allocates assignments establishes work priorities and monitors performance.
- Supervises team activity including that associated with: Identification isolation and correction of product malfunctions.
- Product and equipment disassembly cleaning and refurbishment.
- Generation and maintenance of test reports logs documentation and test equipment.
- Identifies opportunities for department-wide improvement and communicates with management to propose changes as appropriate.
- Communication implementation and supporting process change initiatives as directed by management.
- Acts as key escalation point for team technical and process issues and oversee ongoing problem resolution.
- Ensures compliance with company policies ESD quality and safety requirements.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Typically have 4-6 years of experience as an electromechanical repair technician.
- Lead or Supervisor experience highly preferred and training and development.
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite: Outlook Excel and Power point
- Location: Onsite: St Paul MN
- Hours: Mon- Fri 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
Preferred Qualifications
- ATM repair experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented organized and able to work in ambiguous environments
- Exposure to Lean concepts and principles preferred
