Part-Time Laboratory Assistant at Brockton High School - Up to 19.5 hours per weekJob DescriptionBrockton High School is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to join our Science Department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our science educators by ensuring that laboratory environments are safe well-stocked and prepared for student position requires a basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers to facilitate efficient lab Responsibilities:Lab Preparation: Assist teachers with the preparation of laboratory experiments and activities ensuring all necessary materials are available and ready for student Preparation: accurately make chemical solutions and reagents as requested by the science faculty strictly adhering to safety guidelines and concentration Management: Manage the stockroom inventory including tracking chemical usage organizing storage areas and identifying items that need Distribution: Assist with the timely distribution of supplies glassware and equipment to various classrooms and labs throughout the Maintenance: Catalog new equipment upon arrival and maintain records of existing department and Breakdown: actively help teachers set up equipment before class sessions and break down/clean up laboratories after experiments are :High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in a science-related field experience in a laboratory setting (academic or professional) is highly with standard laboratory safety procedures and chemical organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy educational TypePart-timePositions Available1Job CategoriesSupport Staff > LaboratorySupport Staff > Science Department
