The Export Control Program within the Office of Research Policy and Integrity ensures compliance with United States export control laws. Export control laws can apply to many activities incidental to the education and research missions at UW-Madison. These activities include research with proprietary industry technology international shipments of advanced scientific equipment and biological materials participating in international research collaborations space- related research international travel and use of computer software with encryption features.
The Export Control Manager will report to the Director of Research Security and is responsible for ensuring that research and services completed at the UW-Madison are conducted in a manner compliant with federal export control regulations including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

The minimum annual salary for this position is $90000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
