We are hiring for our client a well-established organisation in Belfast who are seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their established finance team. The Role
As Assistant Accountant you will support the finance team across a broad range of accounting activities including:
Assisting with month-end close processes
Preparing journals accruals and prepayments
Supporting management accounts preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting
Supporting senior finance colleagues on ad-hoc projects
The Person
This Assistant Accountant role will suit someone who has:
12 years experience in a finance or accounts role
Started or keen to start professional accounting exams (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
A genuine desire to progress within an accountancy career
