Summary: The Food Runner position requires excellent organizational andcommunication skills attention to detail and the ability to work in afast-paced environment. The primary responsibility of the Food Runner is tofacilitate the seamless flow of food from the kitchen to guests ensuringaccuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand the statusof each order.

Ensure that all items on an order are prepared and platedcorrectly.

Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen and ensure they aredelivered to the appropriate tables.

Prioritize hot or time-sensitive items to maintain theirtemperature and quality.

Check each dish for accuracy presentation and adherence toquality standards before delivering to the customer.

Verify special requests or dietary restrictions and communicatethem to the kitchen staff.

Work closely with servers to match food orders with the correcttables.

Support servers when needed such as refilling water or clearingempty plates.

Keep the expo area and service stations clean and organized.

Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed.

Maintain open communication channels with the kitchen serversand other restaurant staff.

Relay important information such as delays or changes in orderspromptly.

Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner duringthe food delivery process.

Address any guest concerns or inquiries related to the food beingserved.

Handle multiple orders simultaneously and prioritize tasks basedon urgency.

Assist in managing peak dining hours and ensuring timely service.

Monitor the quality of dishes to uphold the restaurantsstandards.

Report any issues or discrepancies to the kitchen or managementfor resolution.

Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols.

Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean andsafe work environment.

Ensure an exceptional dining experience by following the Companysstandard of service.

Follow all company policies procedures and health and safetyguidelines.

Must Haves:

Previous experience as a Runner or other supportstaff in a restaurant setting.

Knowledge of basic food safety and healthregulations

Customer-centric

Ability to work flexible hours includingevenings weekends and holidays.

Ability to stand walk and carry trays forextended periods.

Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Ability to work in a high demand and faced pacedwork environment.
