Job Summary
Material Handler
As a Material Handler you will support our inventory activities including the cycle count program kitting NCR processing POU transfers Production Order receiving and other warehousing operations.
POSITION: Contract
PAY RATE: $21.00 hour
LOCATION: North Billerica MA 01862
*** Must be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status
- Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise products materials parts supplies and equipment.
- Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
- Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
- Lifts heavy items.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Reviews customer orders examines stocks and distributes merchandise products and materials in inventory warehouses distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Point of use inventory transfers incoming parts stocking
- PO Kitting and receiving
- Pick materials as required and perform associated transactions
- Perform cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials inventory
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status
- High School Diploma
- Have high aptitude for computers.
- Excel and MS Office
PREFERRED:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Prior experience working within an ERP system as asset.
- Prior inventory or shipping & receiving experience an asset.
