OurScience & Insights teamis seeking a temporaryAir Quality Monitoring Officerto support the rollout of greenhouse gas monitoring equipment in the Hunter this roleyoullcontribute to the day-to-day operation of the NSW Air Quality Monitoring Networks (AQMN) andassistwith a range of air quality monitoring programs and projects.Youllapply your scientific and technicalexpertiseto deliver high-quality air pollution data and analysis that meets organisationalobjectivesand scientific standards.
Working collaboratively across EES/EPA universities governmentagenciesand research partnersyoullprovidetimelyadvice to stakeholders and prepare project documentation reports research papersbudgetsand presentations. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to critical air quality science and support evidence-based policy within EES.
About You
Yourea collaborative and motivated professional with experience delivering science projects in air qualitymethodology. Detail-oriented and highly organised you have a strong interest in air quality and environmental protection. You bring proven skills in project planning data coordination and problem-solving and take pride in clear effective stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualifications knowledge anddemonstratedexperience of air quality metrology.
Demonstrated experience in delivering rigorous science projects in air quality metrology.
Current drivers licence.
