Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced 1st Class Flux Core Welders for work in Harvey Louisiana. Candidates must be dependable safety-focused and capable of working 4070 hours per week. All applicants must successfully pass a Flux Core welding test in the 2G 3G and 4G positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform Flux Core welding in 2G 3G and 4G positions
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Read and work from welding specifications and instructions
- Maintain consistent attendance and productivity
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments
Requirements (Must Have)
- Minimum 3 years of Flux Core welding experience (2G 3G 4G)
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Must provide own welding tools
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous shipyard repair experience
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices
- Proven reliability and attendance
Schedule
- Day Shift
- 4070 hours per week (overtime available)
