The faculty position involves administrative academic service and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Program School and Institution. Faculty are responsible for developing learning content executing that content and evaluating student performance in the didactic addition to teaching responsibilities faculty are expected to engage in research and other scholarly activities clinical practice and professional activities.

The qualified candidate will be a certified physician assistant with at least three years clinical experience having earned a Masters degree with additional evidence of content expertise related to PA education.A PhD or academic doctoral degree equivalent (EdD DSc) is preferred (or if in progress a reasonable plan of completion). A professional doctorate (DMSc DHSc) is also favorable.
Prior teaching/precepting experience in a PA education program is preferred. A record of scholarly activity (peer-reviewed publications peer-reviewed presentations curriculum development educational assessment/evaluation research engagement) is preferred.
Membership in professional organization(s) with evidence of involvement at the local state and/or national levels is desirable.
Current certification by the NCCPA is required. Licensure or eligibility for PA licensure in Minnesota is required.
