Description
The Analyst will collaborate closely with business IT and project management teams to support BRIM-related initiatives across the S/4HANA landscape. This includes contributing to the development and review of business requirements validating functional specifications for accuracy clarity and testability and identifying potential gaps issues and risks early in the delivery lifecycle. The role will also lead and support the creation of test strategies develop and execute comprehensive test plans and design detailed user stories and use cases that accurately translate business needs into technical and functional solutions. Through active involvement in project work the Analyst will ensure BRIM processes integrations and enhancements are thoroughly validated and aligned to business expectations.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle for BRIM-related enhancements integrations and enterprise-wide S/4HANA projects.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to elicit refine and document detailed business and functional requirements prior to design and development.
- Provide hands-on subject matter expertise to project teams operational groups and business stakeholders across all BRIM processes.
- Support production operations by analyzing and troubleshooting BRIM-related incidents ensuring timely resolution validation and communication of fixes.
- Prepare and deliver daily progress updates execution summaries and incident status reports to project teams stakeholders sponsors implementation partners and vendors.
- Contribute to the design review and execution of test strategies and test plans for S/4HANA BRIM components and related enterprise applications.
- Lead and oversee integration and regression testing for small to medium initiatives ensuring end-to-end validation of BRIM processes and upstream/downstream interfaces.
- Analyze test results to identify root causes patterns and potential impacts across BRIM functions including rating charging convergent invoicing billing and subscription lifecycle management.
- Participate in audit and compliance reviews to ensure alignment and consistency between test pre-production and production environments.
- Assess existing QA processes and recommend improvements to optimize test preparation reduce manual effort and enhance quality and compliance controls.
- Drive continuous improvement of BRIM product quality through proactive analysis structured feedback and process optimization.
- Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions and training to internal teams sharing insights based on system behavior test results and BRIM functional expertise.
Education Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 710 years of progressive QA or software testing experience preferably in SAP environments.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst with strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies.
- Expertise in multiple testing types: unit functional smoke regression system integration and security testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and test management solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and BRIM solutions is an advantage.
- Experience testing SOAP XML and API-based integrations preferred.
- Strong skills in test case design execution defect tracking and status reporting.
- Ability to understand project requirements and provide design support for QA activities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in collaborative cross-functional teams.
