University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Arabic speaking nurse to provide home care and hospice services to patients in the Livonia MI area. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes ensuring comfort dignity and respect while supporting patients and their families through challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients receiving home care and hospice services.
- Communicate effectively in Arabic to ensure clear understanding with patients and their families.
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding care and symptom management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Comply with all healthcare regulations policies and standards of practice.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of Michigan.
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience in home care or hospice nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Compassionate patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the Livonia area.
