Salary Range: $100000 - $118000

The Boroughs annual budget serves as a comprehensive financial plan for all municipal funds and represents the priorities policies and goals set forth by Borough Council.
Position Summary
The Borough of Plum is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Finance to lead all municipal financial operations following the retirement of the current Finance Director. Reporting directly to the Borough Manager this role is central to maintaining the Boroughs strong fiscal position and supporting informed decision-making by Council and staff.
The Director of Finance will oversee a multi-fund budget guide long-range financial planning and collaborate closely with department directors in the development and administration of departmental budgets. This position is ideal for a finance professional who values public accountability transparency and collaborative leadership and who is comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee all financial operations of the Borough including general accounting budgeting payroll purchasing and financial reporting
- Prepare manage and monitor the annual operating and capital budgets for all Borough funds in compliance with the Borough Code and Pennsylvania budgetary laws
- Manage cash flow investments banking relationships and internal controls
- Prepare and present financial information to Borough Council and committees as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible financial experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or management experience
