  • Full Time Continuing
  • Level 7 - $101421 to $110819 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga or Wagga Wagga

Are you passionate about turning numbers into insights that drive strategic decisions As a Finance Business Partner youll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of our University. Working within the Business Services Team youll provide expert financial analysis reporting and advice to empower Faculties Portfolios and Divisions to make informed compliant and future-focused decisions.

In this role youll lead initiatives that enhance financial governance deliver accurate and timely reporting and support key projects such as cost-pricing systems and research budgeting. Your expertise will help build financial capability across the University fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be based at either Albury-Wodonga or Wagga Wagga working closely with researchers to make a meaningful impact. Youll collaborate with teams across multiple campuses and have access to our hybrid work modelbalancing on-site engagement with work-from-home options.

About you

Youre a confident communicator and strategic problem-solver who thrives in partnership roles. You bring strong management accounting expertise and a passion for enabling research success.

You will have:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance (professional accounting body membership is desirable).
  • Experience in costing and pricing systems project budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Background in management accounting or business partnering within complex environments; exposure to government funding or higher education is advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with academics and researchers.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence systems and dashboard reporting.
